Leadership isn’t what it used to be. Increasingly, leaders are accountable for the economic and social welfare of the entire enterprise while simultaneously running a business unit. They are charged with leading teams through significant transitions. They must overcome capability gaps to effectively lead a digital business. And they must cultivate a diverse, inclusive workforce that can readily adapt to change.
The research and insights of our faculty can help you transform your leadership strategy and approach for this new world of work. Pursuing an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership will help you deepen and broaden your leadership capabilities and provide you with a set of management tools that will serve you well, regardless of your industry.
MIT Executive Certificate programs, unlike MBAs, don't consist of a prescribed set of courses — an Executive Certificate is a plan of your own design. You earn this credential by completing four courses or 8 Executive Education Units (EEUs), with at least three of those courses coming from your chosen track.
While you have up to four years to meet the requirements, you can earn your Executive Certificate in just two weeks. Throughout this process, you'll deepen your executive skillset, get up to speed on timely business topics, or tailor your certificate to address specific challenges you face. Many other executives have built their knowledge this way, and you can join them.
