Ezequiel D. Gherscovici is Co-CEO of ERE, a real estate brokerage and investment firm with offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Maui, and Oahu. He leads corporate strategy, operations, investment decision-making, and long-term value creation across the firm’s real estate activities. A cross-disciplinary executive, asset manager, and entrepreneur, he specializes in sustainable investment, resilient development, hospitality, and building purpose-driven organizations.
Under his leadership, ERE has expanded into new markets, increased revenue, grown its portfolio, introduced new business lines, and completed an organizational transformation. He has guided major real estate transactions and implemented operating improvements that produced operational efficiencies, cost reductions, revenue growth, and enhanced asset performance. He also engages with boards, investors, financial partners, owners, and other stakeholders on corporate strategy, capital allocation, investment risk, governance, and long-term growth.
His leadership approach connects financial performance with disciplined asset stewardship, operational resilience, environmental responsibility, and human well-being. He advances sustainability throughout the real estate asset lifecycle—from investment and development to operations, risk management, and long-term ownership. His philosophy is grounded in the conviction that sustainability and resilience are not separate from business performance: they are essential to managing risk, protecting assets, strengthening operational continuity, and creating enduring value.
Ezequiel is also Co-Founder of Healthy Buildings LLC and Spine Principles LLC, ventures focused on the intersection of indoor environmental quality, human health, real estate, and hospitality. Their work explores practical solutions for creating healthier, more responsive environments across commercial, residential, public, and hospitality properties. Drawing on his experience in healthcare, management, and luxury hospitality, Ezequiel is also advancing a specialized hospitality model designed to provide elevated experiences for people living with musculoskeletal disorders.
In Hawaii, Ezequiel and his team of collaborators are developing a luxury regenerative farm estate and agritourism destination that demonstrates his approach to responsible investment and asset management. The project integrates premium food production, education, hospitality, environmental restoration, and community engagement while preserving the land’s natural character.
The estate’s strategy incorporates regenerative agriculture, renewable energy, water conservation and reuse, native habitat restoration, and low-impact land management. It also addresses wildfire, hurricane, flood, and erosion risks through resilient design and infrastructure. Together, these measures are intended to protect natural and financial resources, support operational continuity, reduce long-term risk, and strengthen the enduring value of the asset.
Ezequiel earned a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) degree from the Nolan School of Hotel Administration, SC Johnson College of Business, Cornell University and an Advanced Certificate for Executives (ACE) from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physiotherapy from Universidad del Salvador in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a Diplomate in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Dip. MDT) from the McKenzie Institute International, New Zealand. Additionally, he obtained executive education certifications from Harvard University, MIT, and Cornell University focusing on technology and innovation, real estate and finance, management and leadership, sustainability and hospitality.
Before transitioning fully into executive leadership, real estate, and investment, Ezequiel practiced physical therapy for more than 20 years across Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. This international experience continues to inform his human-centered approach to leadership, organizational culture, healthy buildings, hospitality, and asset management.
As a “Hotelie for Life,” Ezequiel is a lifelong member of the Cornell Hotel Society and a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and MIT Alumni Association. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the McKenzie Institute International and is a member of the North American Spine Society’s Section on Interdisciplinary Spine.
Ezequiel co-founded the McKenzie Institute International’s Public Health Committee and Argentina Branch, expanded professional education for Spanish-speaking healthcare practitioners, and helped introduce MDT programs across Latin America and Spain. His previous leadership and advisory positions include President of the McKenzie Institute Argentina, member of the North American Spine Society’s Exercise Committee, and member of the Clinical and Scientific Advisory Board of World Spine Care. An international speaker and published author, he has presented on musculoskeletal health and the relationship between healthy buildings and human well-being.
Across his work, Ezequiel brings together executive leadership, investment and asset management, sustainability, resilience, hospitality, and human health. His purpose is to build high-performing organizations and steward assets that deliver lasting financial value while contributing meaningfully to people, communities, and the environment.
