MIT’s Advanced Management Program: A Transformative Experience | MIT Sloan Executive Education

In our recent Advanced Management Program (AMP) Info Session, MIT Sloan Executive Education Senior Lecturer Court Chilton interviewed MIT AMP alumna Mahua Mukherjee, who explained that the transformative experience she had went far beyond the classroom. She told firsthand accounts of her experiences in the program as well as what to expect from faculty.

“I think the most enriching exercise is the networking in the cohort that you build”

After completing AMP, Mahua co-created The star in me, a global career advancement platform for women, and a diversity partner for organizations worldwide. Whenever she has gotten stuck in the last three years while building her startup, Mahua has leaned on Court for help because the network she created while at MIT continues to support her today.

“I think the most enriching exercise is the networking in the cohort that you build,” says Mukherjee, “after three years I still get connected through MIT…the relationship stays for life.” You can hear more about her experience and takeaways covered in the hour-long session, which can be viewed here.

  • Ongoing challenges to their thinking, leadership style, biases, and expectations of themselves and others
  • Time and resources to focus on personal projects and initiatives
  • Opportunities to form profound connections with participants and program alumni

AMP 2022 application deadlines can be found here.

Please keep in mind, qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis, and space is limited. Early application is encouraged and will increase your chances of being accepted. See our on campus Covid-19 policies.
