Bio

I began my career at Corning Incorporated in 1985 as a Controls Engineer, eventually supervising a staff controls engineering team that supported multiple facilities manufacturing ceramic substrates for catalytic converters. In 1991 I joined the start-up team for Cormetech, a joint venture company between Corning Incorporated and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries that manufactures catalysts for air pollution control. I have served in many positions as we have grown our company to be one of the largest world-wide suppliers of DeNOx and oxidation catalysts for fossil-fuel burning systems, especially coal-fired and natural gas-fired power plants. I started as the leader of laboratory and process engineering responsible for receiving and implementing licensed catalyst and manufacturing technologies. From 2004 - 2019, I was the Chief Technology Officer responsible for leading the development and implementation of our innovation and new business strategy. Currently, I am the Chief Operating Officer responsible for plant operations and laboratories, and continue to maintain CTO responsibilities. I hold a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
