Héctor is a Partner at McKinsey’s and leads the Technology Practice for Financial Institutions in Latin America. He plays an active role in McKinsey’s Banking, Digital & Ai practices and participates in global leadership forums.


With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Héctor has built and scaled companies, led technology-driven transformation programs, and addressed systemic challenges in the financial services ecosystem. As a former CEO and CIO, he brings a distinctive perspective — shaping strategy at the highest level and ensuring delivery at scale. His work has translated vision into measurable results across leading banks in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and other markets.


A recognized expert in AI-enabled business transformation, Héctor has led flagship programs in next-generation payments and fintechs, including the creation of national-scale payment ecosystems and the integration of large-scale acquisitions.
