I am an Enterprise Architect specialising in large European projects, with 13+ years of work experience, including 5+ years in management positions. I assisted numerous organisations, in several sectors, as a business, data and technology Architect. I have extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture and project managing complex assignments including evaluating, selecting and designing large-scale ICT solutions. This gives me the opportunity to present my work in different conferences, generally related to eGovernment. I am Portuguese national with an international mindset. I have studied and worked in various European countries (Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Spain) and in the United States. I hold a Bachelor degree in Economics, a Master degree in Information Systems and Technology Management from IE Business School and several Certifications from MIT (Boston Massachusetts, USA). I'm certified in Project Management according to PMI by Boston University, I also hold a certification in PRINCE2, and I'm TOGAF certified by The Open Group. Furthermore, I regularly participate in data standardisation initiatives such as CEN’s initiative on e-Procurement interoperability, the Universal Business Language of OASIS, among others. Currently, I'm working with the European Commission where I'm responsible for the Project and Architecture Office of the Digital Programme of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – budget of 1.14 billion euros: http://ec.europa.eu/digital-agenda/en/connecting-europe-facility. In short, I combine unique expertise in economics, business analysis, data modelling and technology from selection to its implementation and operation. Throughout my career, I have delivered professional services of the highest quality to the European Investment Bank, EU Agencies and the European Commission. This gives me unique management experience in large and complex EU-wide programmes.
