Bio

Mr. Ini-odu Akpan consults on Strategic Management and Operations, Executive Coaching, Negotiation, and Civic Leadership. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Administrators (ICA). He has consulted and facilitated programmes as an international resource staff across West Africa for West Africa Institute for Financial and Economic Management (WAIFEM); and other public and private sector organisations. Prior to his consulting practice Mr Akpan was a Branch Management staff for two of Nigeria’s outstanding commercial banks; Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTB) (Recipient of Outstanding Performance in Public Sector), and Zenith Bank Plc. He retired voluntarily and meritoriously from commercial banking to establish Vianney Consult Limited in 2011. Mr Akpan has served at policy level advisory roles in the Public and Private Sectors as the Special Assistant on Monitoring and Evaluation to the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development (MLHUD); and Special Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO Nigeria Mortgage and Refinance Company Plc (NMRC)- a component of the World Bank Financed Nigeria Housing Finance Programme (NHFP). Mr Ini-odu Akpan is a recipient of Executive Certificates in Management and Leadership, and Strategy and Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) Sloan School of Management. Mr Akpan graduated from the University of Calabar (B. Agric: Agricultural Economics and Extension) and was awarded an International Ambassador for Peace (AFP) in 2014. He is also a Patron of the Boys Brigade of Nigeria.
