The Advanced Certificate for Executives in Digital AI and Digital Business (ACE–AIDB) is designed for leaders who want to go deeper than foundational AI knowledge and build the judgment, confidence, and cross-functional understanding required to lead in an AI-enabled enterprise.


Like all MIT Sloan Advanced Certificates for Executives, the ACE–DBAI is not a prescribed degree program. Instead, it allows you to design a learning journey that aligns with your role, goals, and organization while meeting rigorous requirements that ensure both depth and breadth across AI and digital business strategy.


Over the course of the program, participants gain hands-on exposure to AI-enabled decision-making, digital transformation, and the strategic leadership skills needed to translate emerging technologies into real business impact.

Step 1

Enroll in the ACE-AIDB

You can enroll in a track at any time, free of charge. Simply click the "Enroll for Free" button below and enter your details in the enrolment form. You will still need to select the courses in your plan, but you can do so at a later date.

Create a Course Plan

Choose at least:

Additional courses can be selected from any track.

Complete Your Courses

  • All courses must total at least 25 Executive Education Units (EEUs).
  • At least 12 EEUs must come from the AI-Focused course list and Digital Business track.
  • Attend at least 10 EEUs through in person or live online courses.

Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.

Upon completion of the ACE requirements, participants will become MIT Sloan Affiliate Alumni. At MIT, full alumni status is reserved for those who complete a degree program.


MIT Sloan Affiliate Alumni status includes:

  • An MIT Sloan email-forwarding-for-life (EFL) address
  • Inclusion in the MIT Sloan Alumni Directory
  • Subscription to the MIT Sloan Alumni newsletter
  • Invitations to select MIT Sloan events
  • Opportunity to join local Alumni clubs (membership is up to individual club leadership discretion)

It depends. There is no one set price if you are completing the requirements with multiple courses. You select the courses that fit your schedule and educational plan. The total cost would be the price of the individual courses completed.


You don't have to enroll in and pay for all of the programs at one time, however there are significant savings when you take advantage of the Multiple Program Registration Discount.


If you opt to complete the ACE requirements with the Advanced Management Program or Executive Program in General Management, your cost would be the tuition of the course.


Multiple Program Registration Discount:

When you register at one time for two or three courses (using a single application form), you are eligible for a 10% discount on each course. Or register for four or more courses and receive 15% off each course.

We have implemented Executive Education Units (EEUs) as part of Executive Certificate and ACE requirements. Each course has been assigned a number of EEUs which count toward Certificate requirements and replace "Program Days" which did not accurately represent many online courses.

In order to receive a program certificate of completion, you must attend the entire program. In addition, if you cannot attend the full course, you will not receive any Executive Certificate or ACE credit for the program. If you find that you cannot attend the full program for which you are registered, we advise to you defer your enrollment to the next session. Please see our Cancellation and Deferral policies for more information.
