Ripal Patel is a Founder and Managing Partner of Venture Capital firm Barclay Street Ventures. Patel is a great multiplier and took calculated risks by launching multiple initiatives including AI Ranker, CRM Robo and a FinTech firm. Not only did he turn both CRM Robo and AI Ranker as profitable within the first year, but also positioned those initiatives to grow at a triple digit rate. Prior to founding the VC/PE firm and taking multiple initiatives, he was Vice President of Technology at LPL Financial, #1 Broker Dealer firm in the US, where he oversaw the development of integrated digital products for 18000+ Wealth Advisors. Patel has spent almost two decades in technology and mostly by working with Fortune 500 companies including Bank of New York Mellon, Prudential Financial etc. As a successful technologist, he has also consulted to many financial services firms on leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies during his time at Capgemini, a top-notch technology consulting firm. Patel started his career as an entrepreneur. He successfully raised funds from his friends and family during 1999 to form a technology venture called Mitla Infoway, a digital product development firm. He grew that firm to more than 18 people in less than 2 years and took the profitable exit. Patel holds an MBA degree from Liverpool John Moores University, England and has attended Harvard Business School and Stanford for crafting his skills on investment, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and strategy. He currently serves as a Board Advisor for many technology startups.
