I'm a dedicated husband and father of two, Henri and Sophie. With over 20 years of international experience in various business environments, ranging from manufacturing to consultancy and railway construction, maintenance, and operations. I've built a solid foundation of expertise in implementing operational excellence initiatives and delivering projects that changes people's life.
As an accomplished engineer with a degree in Production/Industrial Engineering from one of the top 10 universities in Brazil (UFSCar), I've been setting up and deploying quality assurance and quality control processes in railway construction projects, from design to final handover stages up to revenue service. I've been a key member of the Project Management teams and I've led the Quality organization of major and complex Turnkey projects such as the Dublin Luas Tramway, Rio de Janeiro Tramway (VLT do Rio), and Dubai Metro Route 2020, among others.
I'm currently based in Dubai (UAE) leading the Quality Excellence program at ALSTOM in the MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey) Cluster. Some of the key projects currently under my responsibility include the iconic Dubai Metro extension (Route 2020), Lusail Tramway (Qatar), Riyadh Metro lines 3, 4, 5, and 6; Dubai Tramway Maintenance, Dubai APM O&M (Airport T1), Jeddah APM O&M, Haramain High Speed; Riyadh Metro O&M; Tel Aviv Green Line Turnkey Project; Cairo Monorail Turnkey.
In addition to my engineering degree, I have earned an international MBA from Liverpool John Moores University in association with Dublin Business School (Rep. of Ireland). I consider myself a self-motivated, driven and passionate leader in the Railway Quality Construction field, and I'm dedicated to continue to make a positive impact in the railway industry and in people's life over the coming years specially in countries where infrastructure is still in development.
