Bio

I am currently the Chief of Staff of Human Resources Operations for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). I previously served 22 years in the US Army and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) on 1/1/2017. During this time I serve in various roles and functional areas, including Chief of Training and Development, Recruitment and Marketing Director, Adjunct Professor at the University of Vermont (UVM), Deputy Chief of Personnel and Assistant Chief of Staff. I also served two combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and worked in 15 other countries with host nation partners across the span of my military career.
