IMD and MIT logos

This deep dive course will be delivered in two parts—one week at MIT in October and a second week at IMD in February. The core of this program is focused on mastering the essential leadership paradox: delivering exceptional results today while strategically transforming for tomorrow—the defining capability for leaders driving sustainable growth in uncertain times.
During the course, you will explore cutting-edge frameworks to help your organization thrive in a digitized universe, balance strategic risk, and seize emerging opportunities. Through a combination of theory, cases, exercises, and self-reflection, you will learn how to architect and lead a nimble company by freeing people to innovate while maintaining strategic alignment and accountability—without imposing bureaucracy.

You will also engage with dynamic innovation ecosystems firsthand—exploring Boston’s Kendall Square and key innovation hubs in Asia—to gain insights into how leading organizations navigate technological disruption, geopolitical shifts, and evolving customer expectations. You and your global peers will leave this course equipped with practical tools for embedding innovation within your organization’s culture, scaling new ideas across teams, and enhancing collaboration within ecosystems. Throughout the course, you will develop a personalized future-readiness roadmap—a concrete plan to implement these insights effectively.
