Live Online Programs - "I forgot I was in a Zoom room."

MIT Sloan Executive Education has converted the majority of our upcoming, on-campus courses to live online programs. This digital transformation began in March as a response to the COVID-19 outbreak in an effort to deliver as many of our programs as possible. Now you can attend the short courses that would have taken place in-person and even complete your Executive Certificate requirements via the Zoom platform. This live and collaborative learning environment has been very successful so far, and we look forward to continuing these online offerings long into the future, even after the current crisis is behind us.

In your online classroom, you will learn from faculty in real-time, network with an intimate group of global peers, and utilize collaborative tools that help facilitate your learning experience. Our faculty share presentation slides via a shared screen and utilize platform tools such as breakouts and polls. Courses take place over two to five half or full days in Boston’s local time zone (Eastern Time). Ample breaks are provided.

"This Zoom course was highly engaging and informative. I learned things I could immediately apply to my business to make it better. Professor Curhan and the entire team from Sloan created an excellent learning experience. I forgot I was in a Zoom room."

- Ingrid W., Negotiation for Executives Participant

Please note that live online courses will be credited as an “in-person” program for purposes of an Executive Certificate and the Advanced Certificate for Executives. Attendance throughout the courses is required in order to complete the course and earn any certificate(s).

New programs are in development, so bookmark this page! We also offer self-paced online (asynchronous) courses. Learn more.

Live Online Programs at MIT Sloan Executive Education

“Honestly, I thought the live online format was great! Much better than expected. You can see everyone’s face and read the room very effectively. We had immediate access to documents and materials that faculty could send through the chat box. We got to know [our peers] in breakout sessions … the format was conducive to networking in ways I never thought possible.”
- James Goodnow, CEO, Fennemore Craig.
