Mark most recently was VP and Chief Operations Officer for JA Moody Inc, a major distributor of fluid controls products to the Department of Defense with headquarters in Malvern, PA. Prior to joining JA Moody Mark was the founder of Mark Allen Racing Inc, a professional motorsports organization in NASCAR. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture Mark spent ten years in key leadership roles at Zodiac Aerospace, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), and Sprint following a highly successful 24-year career with the U.S. Navy. He served as the Director of Security Products within the Zodiac Aerospace Aerosafety Branch at Engineered Arresting Systems Corporation leading a new division focused around homeland security and critical infrastructure protection. Additionally Mark served as the corporate strategist and lead for merger & acquisition activities in the aerospace and homeland security sectors. Prior to entering industry, Mark’s Navy career encompassed 7 years as an enlisted electronics technician and 17 years as a Naval Aviation Officer flying and testing fixed wing tactical jet aircraft. He is a member of NASCAR, the National Defense Industrial Association, the Association of Naval Aviation, the Tailhook Foundation, and the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New York, a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University College of Business and an Executive Certificate in Corporate Strategy & Innovation from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mark enjoys being active in his community. Prior to relocating to Lake Forest from Dewey Beach, Delaware he was a leader in the town’s Budget & Finance Committee. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Denise and their two golden retrievers, the golf course and anything that gets him on or in the water.
