Himanshu was part of the founding team at Treasury, Kotak Mahindra Bank. Over the 19 years at Kotak Mahindra Bank, he donned several hats, working with almost every aspect of the treasury domain viz, operations, technology, processes, systems, and sales. He was responsible for setting up the derivatives back office, sales process, foreign exchange products and the first digital trading platform.

He rose from Trainee to EVP (Regional Head – Treasury Sales) in 19 years at the Kotak Mahindra Bank as a specialist in Forex treasury with CXO level relationships at Fortune India 500 companies, all major Indian & foreign lending institutions. He carries a deep understanding of the cross-border transactions (deals executed of over $150bn). He is an authority on forex regulations, risk management & execution.

He has always loved homes, his passion for real estate: visiting project sites almost every weekend, evaluating layouts, exploring facilities around the project site, scoping the growth potential of the project, selecting the right apartment for investment. A hobby shaped into a personal investment avenue. Started with a seed capital of Rs. 2 lacs in 2003, executed 34 real estate transactions for a total size of above Rs. 80 crs.

Himanshu is an avid woodworker at heart, taken to mountaineering and trekking recently with his next target to summit Mt. Lobuche in 2022.

He took a leap of faith into entrepreneurship in Jan 2022. He is working on “Robinhood” for alternative assets. He envisions democratizing access to alternative assets (real estate, private debt) investing and is now in the works of setting up a platform for fractional investment.

He brings the valuable experience of understanding the global financial markets, hedging instruments for currency & interest rates and real estate.
