  • Oscar T: This program is a great introduction to Applied Neuroscience. Tara did it really great and keep me connected all the time. The meditations were great and the test is really useful.

  • John Q: The applied neuroscience course was useful in that it provided further encouragement and some rationale for making good life choices. It provided some interesting insights in social phenomena that made for good discussion. I was pleased to make the acquaintance of many of my fellow attendees. The course was light on science - though as a scientist, I do understand that my expectations on this were probably much different than the various businessmen in attendance - and so I was a bit disappointed in the content. Tara was able to say "You don't need a neuroscientist to tell you this", a bit too often for a course on applying neuroscience. Overall I enjoyed the course, am applying the lessons on sleeping better, but would have liked it to be a bit deeper.

  • Sufana A: Amazing course with lots of take-aways that would change your daily routine from day 1. Amazing food! I would repeat this experience if I had the chance to! Thank you so much

  • Toronata T: Wish to have more neuroscience tool and application in discussing the business topics such as risk, gender, diversity, financial, decision making etc. Wish to have more reading material than just 1 face amygdala journal prior to the class. Wish to have more pictures in the ppt instead of bullet point (to apply neuroscience principal in communication). Did not particularly agree in generalizing a personal example of not wearing reading glass because of neuroplasticity techniques applied in her personal story - Lack of Samples. Wish to have class being guided to share their specific neuroscience questions or insight because some of the class members are CEO and doctors and neurologist for examples.

  • Edward Group I: The course did not provide useful takeaway info. Did not cover the affects and variables that sugar, msg, metals, aspartame, environmental excitotoxins, emf, lighting, have on the brain. Also the exercises were not beneficial. Info was outdated. I would not recommend this course.

  • Guillaume V: It was my first course at MIT Sloan. I was first very disappointed to attend the course in an hotel meeting room. Topics are good to recall.. but this is just Silicon Valley standards, I would not pay 4.000 to hear it again! I was expecting much more from the tags "Applied Neuroscience" + "MIT". I have this feeling that we had an improved life coaching course. Missing bibliography + references (some slides were approximatives). We spent a morning on women in organisations and cultural diversity (?). I would not recommend this course, and I will pay huge attention before applying to another course at MIT.

  • Ayub M: i wish the program digged deeper . Thought it was very superficial . i could have got the take aways by just reading the book by Tara ( which i do believe is a great book ) Felt i did not learn anything incrementally new after attending the neuroscience and leadership program .

  • Deepali K: Great Program and very well organized. A wonderful experience of a combination of the instructor and a great group of participants from many different industries. All research examples and case studies are very helpful to understand the concepts. The program is based on practical approach and Tara Swart did an excellent job of keeping the group involved, keeping the excitement up and the whole course moving forward.
