  • Daniel N: This was one class that specifically gave me something to bring home - and I'm not just speaking of the book. I have used the framework on various occasions and have even taught some colleagues some of the core principles.

  • Donald B: This program was very useful. It was scholarly, insightful, practical, and street-smart. Loved the constant rotation of small groups where we did exercises, allowing me to learn from a lot of talented people. Still have the chart with "Sensemaking, Visioning, Relating, and Innovating" on my office wall to remind myself to attend to each of these important areas regularly. Bottom line, it was the best leadership course I’ve ever taken -- it offered me practical advice that I still use on a daily basis.

  • Koray S: Creative, engaging and brilliant..Simply a must have program for anyone who is looking for a model/framework and a different perspective that is not staying as a theory only but also being practical enough to be used/implemented into real world. The most creative part for me was having these multiple rounds of exercising sessions where everyone was tasked to engage and practice the model/framework with our own stories with real life examples. It was an amazing experience of learning and I highly recommend this program.

  • Inna Le G: I highly recommend “Transforming your Leadership Strategy” program run by Deborah Ancona. Professor Ancona’s teaching style was fantastic; it was a very dynamic session that covered a lot of valuable content. The models and frameworks presented by Professor Ancona are a great way to revaluate your leadership capabilities and maximize your talent as a leader. Deborah concluded her session quoting Marcel Proust: “the real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes”, I could not agree more with this.

  • Denisa D: This course is a perfect exemplification of why MIT produces true leaders. The class is very interactive and the teacher incredibly approachable and willing to provide MIT data analytics as back-up to make a point. The networking is "strong" in this class. You really do leave knowing a lot more about yourself and your classmates. I came in looking to get a certificate, and I left with a vision. Much like the previous courses I’ve taken at MIT Sloan, it’s a transforming experience.

  • Robin E: This course was nothing short of outstanding! This was my most favorite and productive course out of all four that I have taken at MIT Sloan. You walk away with the tools you need to incorporate elements or all of the strategies taught in this course and a plan for achieving growth for you and your company.

  • Jalal M: Very interesting class! And even better after I returned to my home base and gave it more thought in order to answer my "what did I learn" question. I found the class very helpful simply because it showed me how my approach/methodology/process for leading teams can fit within a construct/framework that good leaders practice! I found the group exercises to be useful but would recommend more time to be spent on the faculty driven exercises. All I can say is hat this class has influenced my leadership style: I am now more aware of how I do things!! THANK YOU and I'll be back :)

  • Ivan R: This program provided me with a great methodology to understand the impact that my personal leadership signature has in others and the way that I can modulate it to impact different people in a better way, and understand others signature as well, so as a team we can achieve the best possible outcome of our interaction. Key concepts: Sense Making, Relating, Visioning and Inventing
