  • Carmen C: Neuroscience for Leadership was my first program at MIT. I really recommend this program for improving your leadership skills. One of the most important ways to improve these skills is to get to know which patterns you have as a leader and which patterns the people around you have. You really get to understand the diversity of thinking, mindsets and emotions of yourself and of the people working with you. You come to understand their mindsets and which techniques to use with every different pattern. One of the most important takeaways from this program was realizing how important the power of storytelling is. This is a skill I have been using since I attended this program and that has made a difference with my team! This program definitely helped me improve my leadership capabilities!

  • Scott B: I came into this class expecting to uncover some interesting scientific research, but I was not expecting real change to my day to day behavior. The class delivers on both accounts. The science is fascinating, but more important is the realization that we humans are a mind + body system that can not be partially maintained. The class has not only changed the way I think, it has changed the way I prepare myself to think. I would recommend this class to everyone.

  • Nicholas V: The course wasn't exactly what I was expecting. Being at MIT, I was expecting more discussion on Neuroscience and the science behind human behavior. I would say course content was 25% about the science and 75% about common "self-help" habits for changing behavior that is common to other leadership, management, or self-improvement books on the market. Would love to see more Neuroscience courses at MIT Exec Ed focused on the latest research and insights into our patterns and behaviors.
