  • Luciano B: Material should be given prior to the class in order to better follow the content and the logic. Last part of the course, the professor was not so prepared to share with the class his knowledge, he was a bit lost! The entire course is great the missing point was the last part of it.

  • Ali A: Excellent program. Simple to use models that can be applied in many industries. Very humble professors that listened to everyone’s comments and went out of their ways to extract information from the participants. Please post the class presentations (Nov 03 2013).

  • Cort R: I had a great experience during the two day program. All material was relevant with numerous takeaways. I highly recommend continuing to expand on this program and maybe even splitting it into two or three more programs. It was obvious all three Professors wanted to spend more time with the participants teaching and exchanging ideas and experiences. All three presenters were well prepared and enthusiastic about the subjects. All kept the subjects on track and did not allow them to wonder outside of manufacturing. Being given access to the slides are extremely helpful if not necessary for the complete learning and retention experience. Manufacturing needs this type of support to help refresh and move us forward. Thank You.

  • Diego T: The class was heavy on Supply Chain Management and Operations and too light on the future of manufacturing. The last session by David was a good attempt to cover the future, and started promising, but ended up being about operations too. In general, I felt that the presentations were more about presenting the current work the professors are doing at MIT rather than presenting a more complete overview of the future of manufacturing and the trends that are emerging in the industry. I was expecting more discussions on visionary topics such as: democratization of manufacturing, crowd sourcing, social robots , advanced materials, new manufacturing processes, additive manufacturing.

  • Aritz A: I am very happy I took this course. I gained some knowledge about Big data and 3 dimensionality that were most useful to me. I would recommend to develop more on digitalization and globalism to round up the value of the course.
