Our executive education programs are designed to help managers not only solve problems, but also see opportunities these problems may present, and discover new and innovative sources of revenue in those opportunities!

The Management and Leadership Certificate is an ideal option for technical executives seeking to enhance their general management and leadership skills in order to become effective leaders in a dynamic business world. The curriculum focuses on core business competencies including marketing, finance, negotiations, change management, and systems thinking.

This year, we are offering several new management training programs created to address some of the most immediate issues many organizations and executives may be facing. Grounded in extensive cognitive research on how we learn and observe, Communication and Persuasion in the Digital Age is designed to help executives and managers become successful communicators in person and in virtual contexts---from public speeches and group discussions to video conferencing and social media. Maximizing Your Personal Productivity will increase the personal productivity of professionals through a series of case studies, practical exercises, and background readings. The program encourages self-evaluation through polls and surveys about your work habits and provides ample opportunities for learning through doing. Neuroscience for Leadership will provide hands-on application of concepts and techniques deriving from brain research and psychology that can improve your individual leadership performance, as well as that of your team and organization. Essential Law for Entrepreneurs in Innovation-Driven Startups and Growth Companies (4Dx),our new online-only course, is a hands-on, focused “deep dive” into the law-sensitive issues that face innovation-driven businesses at key junctures

The Global Executive Academy brings MIT content to the non-English speaking world by offering a multilingual educational experience on the MIT campus that draws on four of our existing open enrollment programs. Six languages will be represented: Arabic, English, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. There will be simultaneous translation of the programs—"United Nations style"—and activities designed to bridge the language barrier. Participants in this two-week course will earn an MIT Sloan Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership.

To earn an MIT Sloan Certificate in Executive Management and Leadership, participants must choose three leadership and management training programs from the list below, plus a fourth program from any of the three tracks.
