Jason serves as a college admission and scholarship consultant to families, schools, and public/private organizations around the United States. His work with students and families has been profiled by numerous national television, print, and radio news outlets.
Jason has served as an assistant to a member of congress and to a state governor, was an administrator in a large urban public housing authority, and held a position as a law clerk at the United States Department of Justice. He also practiced law at several large multinational law firms. Most recently, Jason worked as a civil rights attorney in St. Paul, Minnesota, helping adjudicate racial discrimination claims. He sits on the board of directors for a number of nonprofits both in the United States and in Argentina, where he has conducted extensive research into Latin American politics.
In addition, Jason has been honored with major national and international awards in public policy and international affairs such as the prestigious Harry S. Truman Scholarship and a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship in public policy and international affairs. He has also received honors from the Public Employees Roundtable in Washington, D.C., and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. He is an active member of the American Bar Association and the Professional Management Institute.
Jason received degrees in public policy and law from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to his graduate work, he received a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and upon graduation studied, lectured, and traveled throughout Southeast Asia as a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar based at the National University of Singapore.
