For over ten years, Rodrigo Cavalcanti has been involved in the management of R&D projects for large telecommunications corporations in Brazil. He is the founder and director of GTEL, a research institute focused on developing wireless networks and technologies for improved access to internet services by the general population. Rodrigo holds a doctor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Campinas, Brazil.
