Additionally, being an innovator at heart, S.K. was particularly interested in the process of technological innovation. With his technical background and ongoing collaboration with researchers at MIT, MIT Sloan Executive Education was the clear choice for his education needs. He transitioned to academia (Alfred University) as an endowed chair professor in January 2011. He was with Battelle’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a Chief Materials Scientist when he moved in December 2010.
“I was attracted to MIT Sloan for its international reputation, technical backdrop, and impressive track record in executive education. I wanted to learn more about the way innovation happens in science and technology. The programs in the Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation track covered all of the key aspects of the innovation process.” S.K. adds, “I enjoyed the MIT Sloan experience immensely. The classes were full of insights, lively discussions, and excitement. The programs took me through all steps of innovation and provided me with right tools to deploy these insights within my own work.”
