Bernard-Louis Roques is the General Partner and Founder of Truffle Capital, a leading independent European private equity firm dedicated to investing in and building technology leaders in the IT, life sciences, and energy sectors. With $600 million under management, Truffle Capital is led by a team of four partners with decades of successful investment and entrepreneurial experience in both Europe and Silicon Valley. The company aims to achieve superior financial returns by leveraging its industry knowledge, extensive network, and unique focus on spin-offs to identify business ventures that match latent market needs.
Bernard-Louis was a founding partner of ABN Amro Venture Capital. He has successfully led over 40 information technology investment companies, a majority of which have become public. He previously acquired a small French industrial company, restored it to profitability, and sold it 18 months later. He is a board member of ESI Group (technical software, Euronext ‘ESI’), Netbooster (internet, Euronext ‘ALNBT’), Phone Systems (VoIP, Euronext ‘PHO’), Deny-All (security software), Equitime (HR optimization software, MoMac B.V.
