Hod Pharis is the co-founder and chief operating officer of DealerVu, a company that develops and delivers transactional and information-based systems that provide efficient, cost effective, and integrated custom retail software solutions (specifically retail management, supply chain, data aggregation, and business intelligence) to the retail vehicle industry across North America.
For over 20 years, Hod has worked in such diverse fields as mineral exploration, mining, entertainment, and advertising. He has extensive experience in network design, project management, and software development. Hod was formerly a Novell Systems Engineer, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and a Microsoft Certified Trainer. He has taught computer sciences at Okanagan University and was a consultant for Microsoft and Sierra Systems.
In the early 90s, Hod co-founded Cybernet Technologies, a Microsoft award-winning IT firm that provided network and software design, development, and project implementation for large scale technology rollouts to Fortune 1000 companies across North America. During his time with Cybernet, he held the role of senior solutions architect and later chief operating officer.
In addition, Hod was chief technology officer at Yummy Interactive where he spent two years overseeing the development of a global online network that provided streaming desktop applications and multi-player video gaming for major software publishers on a pay-per-use basis to consumers across North America and Asia.
