For the past ten years, Gianluca Marta has worked in two diverse fields: information technology and real estate. He is the co-founder and CEO of Edevelopment, a company that develops residential complexes in Italy. In addition, Gianluca is an executive consultant and software architect at Medical International Research, a leader in the world market of diagnostic spirometry devices. The company develops and produces innovative devices and software as well as solutions for telemedicine applications. Gianluca co-designed and developed a complete hardware and software telemedicine solution that is installed and currently working in several health-centers worldwide. He is part of the team that engineered and developed the winspiroPRO project.
He has extensive experience in IT systems design, project management, and software development. Gianluca was formerly a software designer and a certified systems integration engineer. He studied computer sciences and management in Italy and was a consultant for several leading companies, such as Synchron and Italdata, and for government organizations.
In 1999, he was managing director of Artedil, a firm that operates in the field of projecting, constructing, and refurbishing buildings in Italy, Switzerland, and the French Riviera. In addition, Gianluca was CIO at Methodos Group where he spent two years overseeing the development of a business strategy analysis project.
