Jeff Hemphill's team at the Schaeffler Group is responsible for the development of advanced planetary automatic torque converters and converter clutches, dual clutch transmission components, hybrid vehicle components, advanced finite element analysis and computer aided engineering tools, test equipment development, product verification, and intellectual property. Jeff has over 20 years of experience in automotive powertrain, including manufacturing, product design, testing, and vehicle development. He has more than 50 patents filed or issued. In addition, Jeff has a BSME from the University of Akron.
