Bernard Gavgani started his career as a computer engineer and worked with MIT on Stockastic modelling during the 1980s. Since 1990 Bernard Gavgani has taken on increasing responsibilities in Corporate and Investment Banking, precisely in Equities Derivatives for BNP Paribas. Today Bernard supervises 1,500 people and manages the operation design and integration of the most sophisticated hardware and software for the Middle and Back Office for Equities Derivatives. He builds innovation streams and processes for collecting competitive intelligence, forecasting technology change, and gathering information on user needs.
Every day Bernard faces the dual challenges of internal politics and resistance to change that can threaten innovation initiatives.
