Advanced Executive Certificate Program in Management, innovation & Technology
The Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, innovation, and Technology (ACE) is a special Executive Certificate for participants who attend 25 program days and complete at least two programs from each Executive Certificate track within a four-year period. It is designed for executives from any industry or level of responsibility who see the value of staying current with the latest thought leadership, management insights and business expertise provided by the MIT Sloan School of Management. ACE is not a single program with a single group of participants. As an ACE participant, you choose the programs that best suite your interests and schedule. You can start earning ACE at any time, as soon as you enroll in one of our 25 open enrollment programs. Hear from a past participant in this video testimonial.

Cutting-edge content
Our executive programs address today's most pressing business and challenges. For example, one of our new programs – Intelligent Organizations: Collaboration and the Future of Work – explores how people and computers can be connected in new, creative ways so that, collectively, they act more intelligently and effectively than any person, group, or computer. Another program – Clean Energy Ventures: Creating Innovative New Businesses Through Entrepreneurial Management – exemplifies MIT's commitment to finding new ways to meet the energy needs of the future.
Senior MIT faculty
Our certificate programs in Management, innovation and Technology are taught by full-time MIT faculty-leading management experts and sought-after business consultants from the Sloan School of Management and other MIT schools and research centers.
Innovative Learning
Each program session is an immersive experience presented in three parts: theory that provides a framework to help participants see their work from a different perspective; application of the theory in the form of simulations, company visits, or team projects, which can feature a specific company or an industry sector; and discussion-in small groups as well as in the entire room-to make the material more relevant to each individual participant. This cycle repeats several times during each session to facilitate interactive learning that is not only academically solid but also enriching and engaging.
Flexible, customizable format
ACE participants design their own curriculum and set their own schedule. Participants interested in an immersive, single experience have the option of attending multiple programs over a eight- to ten-week period; other participants may opt to spread their programs out over a longer period time, up to four years, according to workload and budget constraints. With MIT's advanced executive certificate program, no long-term commitment is required. If you participate in one or several programs, but are unable to complete the number required for an ACE, you will still take away the benefits of MIT's unique management insights, a new understanding of the global business environment, and a much-enriched network.
Excellent networking opportunities
ACE participants engage with business leaders from around the globe and a wide variety of industries-from technology to communications to financial services to manufacturing, as well as government and non-profit organizations. Many of our participants come from countries in South America, Europe, and Asia. During MIT's advanced executive certificate program, participants can expect to interact with over 500 senior executives in various organizational and management roles, from many of the world's leading companies. Participants who earn an ACE will also benefit from inclusion in the MIT Sloan alumni directory, an MIT Sloan email-for-life address, and a subscription to the MIT Sloan alumni enewsletter.
